Short boat ride to Tahaa and Raitea. Helicopter shuttle is available to neighboring Bora Bora (for a fee).

 

Vahine Island

Simple, elegant, and secluded describe this getaway resort destination. Vahine Island Resort sits on its own private island in Tahaa's lagoon. With a total of 3 overwater bungalows and 6 beach bungalows, this resort maxes out at 18 guests. No air conditioning, but you do have ceiling fans and ocean breezes. Very romantic, but not suitable for families. No pool onsite. Lovely restaurant & friendly staff.

 

Raitea Hawaiki Nui Hotel
The only hotel situated on the island of Raitea, this simple hotel offers modest accomodations. Most bungalows and units have no air conditioning. Small pool onsite. Good restaurant. A budget oriented choice for folks looking to stay at a laid back, small beachfront hotel.
